How often and where does the ERC gather?

You’ll find us gathering at the War Memorial, 32 Lake Shore Drive, Grosse Pointe Farms, on the third Tuesday of the month from September through May.

What does the ERC do when it meets? 

We bring like-minded people together to network and to hear informative speakers. We expand our understanding of important local, state, national issues, and offer a learning opportunity to friends and other community members. Programs include panels, office holders or—during a campaign season—some who seek a partisan or non-partisan office.

Is there a cost to attend? 

Nope. Admission is free and the public is always welcome. 

How much are dues? 

It takes a little cash to run the club, but we’re not greedy. Annual dues are just $25 per household.

Is there a discount plan for dues payment? 

For $100 you’ll have a five-year membership—that’s equivalent to one year of membership free! Big spender? Chip in $500 and become an elite, Lifetime Member.

What is considered the “east side”? 

The ERC serves the northeast corner of Wayne County, Michigan (east of Mount Elliott), including the eastside of Detroit, and suburban communities of Harper Woods, and the five Grosse Pointes. But the truth is that folks visit us from Oakland and Macomb Counties.

How is the ERC governed? 

A seven-member board is elected annually to govern the ERC.
