Planning Ahead

Who will be on the August 2, 2022, Primary Election ballot? Pollsters are calling and Michigan voters are itching to do their homework. 

As they say, “patience is a virtue.” 

Michigan filing deadlines are not until mid-April, or later, Party nominating conventions will be conducted later this year, meanwhile candidates continue to announce their run for office. 

For example, to-date, the Michigan Republican primary could see 13 or more competing on August 2 for the GOP gubernatorial nomination and opportunity to make Gov. Gretchen Whitmer a one-term governor! 

What is known for certain is that, according to Michigan’s Secretary of State, candidates for these offices will be on the November 8 General Election ballot:
